The Carmo 04‑512 Snap Grommet Set (Ø12 mm) is a high‑performance plastic grommet system designed for reinforcing holes in textiles, awnings, tarpaulins and banners. These snap‑together grommets offer the speed and simplicity of traditional metal grommets while providing significant benefits for recycling, weight reduction and material compatibility. 

Manufactured in Denmark using high‑impact polypropylene (PP), the 04‑512 grommets are weather‑resistant, suitable for temperatures ranging from –20°C to +60°C, and are engineered for strong, reliable retention performance. They can be inserted manually or using the Carmo 07‑512 snap grommet tool, making them ideal for both production and on‑site installation.

These snap grommets are suitable for materials up to 1.4 mm thickness, and thin substrates benefit from the Carmo 04‑510 washer, included in this product for added security. They also match or surpass metal grommets in pull strength, while remaining lightweight, rust‑free and fully recyclable — making them particularly well‑suited for PVC banner and tarpaulin systems where total recycling is required.
