The Carmo 02‑118 PVC Washer is specially designed to allow Carmo’s nylon (PA) snap fasteners — 02‑331 (medium closing strength) and 02‑431 (heavy closing strength) — to be securely welded onto vinyl sheeting. These fasteners cannot be welded directly, so the washer creates a stable PVC interface that enables a clean, dependable attachment to PVC‑based substrates.

Depending on your production method, the washer can be applied using gluing, ultrasonic welding or high‑frequency (HF) welding. HF welding offers the strongest result, fusing the washer directly to the material and creating an exceptionally durable bond ideal for demanding industrial or technical environments. 

Produced in Denmark from high‑quality PVC and engineered with geometry optimised for HF welding, the 02‑118 washer delivers consistent, reliable performance across applications such as signage, tarpaulins, flexible substrates and technical textile integration.
